Craftsmanship

Light,
made by hand.

Every YEPHALL composition is drawn, blown, fired, finished and assembled element by element — by people, not machines.

The Atelier

Fifteen years of
installation art lighting.

YEPHALL is a design-and-production atelier devoted to installation art lighting — pieces conceived to go beyond illumination and become the defining gesture of a room. For more than fifteen years we have worked alongside architects, interior designers and project teams, composing bespoke light for the world's most refined residences, hotels and landmark interiors.

How We Work

Made by hand, material by material

Every YEPHALL piece begins as raw matter and ends as light. Five materials, one pair of hands at a time — gathered, shaped, fired and finished in our own Zhongshan workshops until a material becomes the soul of a room.

Porcelain, Lit From Within

Bone China & Ceramic

Porcelain remembers the hand that shapes it. Petal upon petal, each bloom is coaxed from the clay, sponged to silk and traced with gold lustre, then given to the kiln — until, united with its light, the flower carries a quiet dawn at its heart. Thin enough to glow; fired hard enough to last a lifetime.

Handmade Glass

From the amber heart of the furnace, molten glass is gathered and breathed into being — spheres seeded with a thousand suspended breaths, petals pressed soft while they still remember the flame — then carved cold beneath running water, one patient line at a time. No two are ever alike; that is the point.

Crystal

Facet by facet against the water-fed wheel, crystal is taught to gather light and give it back. Each drop is cut, polished and strung strand by strand, then held to a white light and judged by eyes that forgive nothing — for in a room of quiet luxury, it is the smallest brilliance that speaks loudest.

The Architecture Beneath The Bloom

Brass

Beneath every bloom stands a quiet architecture. Branch is joined to branch in a breath of flame, edges are laid with genuine gold leaf, and every surface is drawn by hand to a warm satin lustre — bare metal, never painted, left to age as gracefully as the rooms it serves.

Handmade Glaze

Crushed glass is weighed grain by grain to your exact palette, cast through a slow fire in plaster moulds and broken free like something unearthed — then polished at the wheel until the colour itself learns to carry light. Champagne, sage, blush: each hue is mixed for one room, and never repeated.

Our Belief

Composed, not manufactured.

No two pieces are alike. Each is engineered to a single room, then made by hand — shaped, never moulded into uniformity.

The Process

From drawing to ceiling

Every commission follows the same considered path — transparent at each step, with your approval before anything is made.

Step 01

Design & 1:1 Drawing

Every YEPHALL form is born as AI-generated inspiration, selected by our chief designer. From there the work is entirely human: our team translates the chosen concept into a full 1:1, three-dimensional drawing — scaled to your exact ceiling height, footprint and sightlines, so you see the real proportions before anything is committed.

Step 02

Samples & Confirmation

We prepare real material samples and prototype elements, then share high-definition photographs and video for your approval. Colour, finish and scale are confirmed with you directly — nothing goes to production until it is right.

Step 03

Handcrafted Production

Glass is mouth-blown, crystal cut, ceramic glazed and metal hand-finished. Each element is made individually, then wired, balanced and assembled by hand into the finished composition.
Typically 60–90 days

Step 04

Pre-Shipment Inspection

The complete piece is assembled, lit and inspected in our workshop. We send full photographs and video of the finished work — exactly as it will arrive — for your sign-off before it is packed.

Step 05

Crating & Worldwide Delivery

Each piece is crated to export standard — modular where needed for safe transit — fully documented, insured and shipped to your project by your preferred carrier.

Step 06

Installation Support

We supply detailed rigging and wiring drawings and provide remote guidance throughout. Installation is carried out by your contractor, or a local partner we can recommend in your region.

By Hand

The difference is in the detail.

A machine repeats. A maker responds — to the weight of the glass, the fall of the light, the proportion of the room. That human judgement is what turns a fixture into a piece of art.

It is also why every YEPHALL composition can be made to any size and any colour: when a piece is built by hand, there are no fixed moulds to limit what it can become.
